OUR MINISTRIES

​Every Sunday and Wednesday, babies through Fourth Graders experience environments where the Bible is taught in fun and creative ways. Our PVN Kids are taught to love Jesus in four major ways: through evangelism, discipleship, building a missional mindset, and fellowship. It is important that all kids grow and leave the ministry having developed a relationship with Christ and learning to serve others. We would love for you and your family to visit this Sunday!

PVN STUDENTS is our Wednesday night gathering for students in 7th-12th grade! Come hang out at 6:30pm - 7:30pm in the PVN Student Building for fun, worship, and small groups! We can’t wait to see you there!

PVN COLLEGE is our Thursday night gathering for college students! Come hang out from 6:00pm - 7:30pm in the PVN Student Building for free Dinner, Bible Study, and FREE BOOKS! Join a healthy community of students that loves to break down Scripture verse by verse. This is a place for YOU!

The Family Ministry at PVN is the shared service of all Christians at PVN to strengthen families and equip them to make the disciples of Jesus Christ in the home and throughout the world! We consider everyone at PVN to be a part of the family of God. There are 6 programs in the Family Ministry that focus on reaching singles, couples with no children as well as those with kids, empty nesters, and seniors. Come be a part of our PVN Family!

We love blended worship at PVN! Because of that, we like to pull from the richness and wisdom of the past into our worship through hymns and traditional styles of worship. Our blended worship style at PVN also uses a lot of modern worship to help us connect with how the Holy Spirit is moving in the present and future.

Our Men's Ministry offers opportunities for men to meet and encourage one another through prayer, Bible study, men's breakfasts and other fellowship activities. This ministry also seeks to impact our community through global and local ministry and missions. Come be a part of what God is doing through our men.

The ladies ministry of PVN is active year round in ministry work, team building, fellowships, and discipleship. The PVN Women’s Ministry seeks to impact our community by connecting in meaningful relationships, engaging the world with God’s love, and growing a family of mature believers. Whether you are interested in small group Bible study with women, enjoy fellowship through activities, or helping the community by spreading the message of Christ, there is a place for you!

Our Senior Adults ministry called Pilgrims meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 10:30 am for fellowship! After a program, they have a covered dish luncheon at noon. This special group also plans exciting outings and trips during the year. PVN has ministries for all ages, and we’d love for you to join ours!

PVN is involved locally through service projects, benevolence, sharing the gospel, feeding the hungry, mentoring in local schools, and partnerships with ministries like Good Neighbors, Restoration Rome & the Salvation Army. We are also active on a broader scale through mission trips and disaster relief, backpack for Appalachia, shoeboxes for Operation Chrsteas Child, and more. We support thousands of missionaries financially & prayerfully through the Cooperate Program, and we are helping plant churches through partnerships with national pastors in several countries.

The PVN Media Ministry’s purpose is to glorify God through our commitment to reach others through digital in-reach and outreach, teach to make disciples, sow seeds through storytelling, and grow connections between people and God. We are always looking for people to carry out this purpose and live on mission, so please consider joining this ministry!

Trail Life USA (TLUSA) is a Christian outdoor adventure program that emphasizes and teaches biblical moral values. TLUSA was founded in late 2013 by scouting enthusiast who were concerned about many of the changes made to other scouting organization’s policies.

American Heritage Girls (AHG) was founded by a group of parents wanting a faith-based, scout-type character development program for their daughters in 1995. Troop GA0110 started in August of 2016 at Pleasant Valley North Church to fill the void of a Christian scouting program for girls ages 5 – 18 in the Rome, Ga area. All troops in the AHG Program are dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country.
